Global South News is an editorial project dedicated to development, sovereignty, infrastructure, regional integration and multipolar politics across Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

The site is being built as a focused international newsroom architecture: source maps first, automation later, and always with an emphasis on material context rather than spectacle.

Global South News is edited from the wider Cafezinho network, founded by journalist Miguel do Rosario.
